Power Systems Performance Project Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Power Systems Performance project manager your responsibilities would include

• Understand program level goals & milestones for the platform working with all stakeholders involved in the platform GA – program team hardware/firmware team development team platform performance architect & performance engineering team
• Understand platform performance goals and work with the platform performance architect/performance engineering manager/teams to develop performance engineering plan required to successfuly GA the platform
• Interlock performance engineering plan with all stakeholders
• Work with the performance engineering manager/teams to ensure resource are aligned to executed on the performance engineering plan
• Track the status of the performance engineering execution and present the same in various forums
• Idetnify dependencies/risks and work with stakeholders to revolve/mitigate them

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 15+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a prorject manager managing system/software releases
• Experience in preparing detailed project plans and project status reports
• Experience using project management tools like Jira RTC for planning & tracking
• Experience managing various project management methodologies like Agile/Scrum/Waterfall
• Experience presenting to senior executives
• Good understanding of System Architecture and Operating System concepts
• Good communication & presentation skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• PMP Certification
