This Power Expert will be a Silicon Carbide Evangelist. Will be responsible for everything from presenting/teaching the Value Proposition of Silicon Carbide to working closely with customers in defining the right Silicon Carbide implementation for their customer's application needs in the Western Region of North America.

The Day-to-Day:

• Work closely with customers on understanding their requirement so to properly provide everything from device selection (both SiC Device & Gate Driver) to troubleshooting to thermal analysis
• Collaborate with Sales on defining strategies to win not only with current customers but future customers/segments
• Collaborate with BU on providing feedback/insight on current products/application while also helping define future products/roadmaps
• Work towards becoming your Customer's "Technical Advisor". Our goal is to be the customer's first call when they have a Silicon Carbide question/need.

This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):

• 7+ years experience in power electronics, with either a Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
• Hands-on experience with AC/DC high power designs and extensive knowledge in testing and debug
• Good understanding of different topologies (Half/Full Bridge, PFC, Inverter and Resonant circuit such as LLC/PSFB) and power electronics control theory
• Strong Communication and Presentation skills that can adapt from highly technical one on one discussions to full audiences
• Ability to travel for customer engagement/support needs (25-30%)
  • Regional Support: California, Arizona, Western Canada and Rocky Mountain region
