Power Test Engineer

Here's the Gist
You will work to support the Test Dice and Inspect module of the process that has a footprint both domestic and international at several sites. The Power Test Engineer will be part of a team responsible for all aspects of Wolfspeed's Power wafer level and die level test. This person will work closely with other test organizations in Wolfspeed across the globe.
The Day to Day
- Develop, sustain and improve processes and equipment for electrical testing of wafers and devices for Cree's Power product line (Schottky Diodes and MOSFET's)
- Deliver robust and "user friendly" production test solutions. Generate and maintain complete process documentation and procedures for on-wafer testing for Power products.
- Analyze data using sound statistical methodology to monitor test integrity and stability on HV on-wafer test systems. Most of this analysis is done using the JMP platform.
- Maintain calibrated test stations and probe cards to minimize tool down time. Diagnosis problems and implement corrective actions for on-wafer test systems
- Design and execute electrical/mechanical experiments to improve measurement and process yields
- Work with product development on test strategies that minimize wafer probe requirements while maintaining product integrity to specifications
This Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements) :
- High energy, self-motivated attitude with strong communication skills and an ability to interface effectively with different backgrounds, at every level of the organization
- Strong attention to detail while effectively managing time
- BS in STEM, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or an equivalent discipline
- You will stand out with hand-on experience with testing equipment or ability to read and understand circuit schematics. Experience with programming (C#, .Net or VB)
- You will stand out with experience with data analysis including SQL queries or software such as JMP
