PowerApps Developer

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA's family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid capacity, at the location(s) listed in this posting.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 5 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

CW-IT Applications Developer IV
Develops, implements and assesses specific new and emerging technologies, platforms, and services.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Assessing the technical viability of emerging products and technologies.
• Working with developers and infrastructure specialists to test and evaluate new technologies.
• Participating in the development of business cases and obtaining approvals for capital expenditures.
• Monitoring and analyzing new technology product performance and resolving issues regarding potential improvements or modifications to complex situations, as needed.

Job Description

• Develops, implements and assesses specific new and emerging technologies, platforms, and services.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• You will leverage Microsoft SharePoint, PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate and/or O365 resources to design and implement technical solutions and analysis in support of, and alignment with the team vision and strategy
• Development of MS Powerapp application that will allow end users to be able to interact with and populate various data sets stored in SharePoint lists.
• Optimize current Power Apps site that has been built to make it run smoother and be more user friendly
• Assessing the technical viability of emerging products and technologies.
• Working with developers and infrastructure specialists to test and evaluate new technologies.
• Participating in the development of business cases and obtaining approvals for capital expenditures.
• Monitoring and analyzing new technology product performance and resolving issues regarding potential improvements or modifications to complex situations, as needed.
• Work with multiple stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate them into design and development
• Able to take business requirements to draft wireframe designs

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ Years in web application design, 2+ Years in Power Apps

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with design, development, and building office 365 solutions including PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Power BI, Dynamics 365, SharePoint online

• Have built and managed multiple sites
• Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills, with strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members
• Demonstrated versatility and high competency levels in creativity and technical comprehension

Work Experience:

• 5+ Years in web application design, 2+ Years in Power Apps
• Experience in using Microsoft SharePoint to build and manage documents libraries

Potential Salary:

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
