Position Summary

As a PR and Social Media Manager, your primary responsibility is to develop and execute effective public relations and social media strategies to enhance the company's reputation and visibility. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including marketing, communications, and executive management, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement across all channels. This role demands a strong understanding of PR practices, social media platforms, and exceptional communication skills.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Public Relations Strategy:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to cultivate and maintain a positive company image
  • Identify pertinent media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers, establishing relationships with them
  • Create and disseminate press releases, media kits, and other PR materials
  • Coordinate interviews, media appearances, and press conferences as required
  • Monitor media coverage and handle media inquiries and interview requests

Social Media Strategy and Management:

  • Formulate and implement social media strategies to boost brand awareness, engagement, and growth across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Craft and curate compelling content for social media channels, encompassing text, images, and videos
  • Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, responding promptly
  • Oversee social media advertising campaigns and analyze performance metrics for optimization
  • Stay updated on social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms

Content Creation and Management:

  • Generate engaging and persuasive content for various PR and social media channels, such as blog posts, articles, newsletters, and website copy
  • Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to gather information and develop content
  • Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in style and tone while optimizing for search engines
  • Monitor and report on content performance, utilizing analytics tools to gauge effectiveness

Brand Management:

  • Uphold a strong brand image and maintain consistency across all PR and social media channels
  • Monitor and manage online reputation, promptly addressing any negative feedback or customer concerns in a professional manner
  • Identify opportunities for brand collaborations, partnerships, and sponsorships

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze PR and social media metrics, providing regular reports on performance, trends, and insights
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure the impact of campaigns, content, and social media activities
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to optimize results

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience in PR and social media management, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of PR practices, social media platforms, and emerging trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in content creation and copywriting
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Creative mindset and strategic thinking ability
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles is a plus

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $130,000ย
