PR & Communications Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing our media and communications strategy, driving our brand development, commercial growth, and reputation. Your primary objective will be to elevate our brand awareness and consideration through strategic PR initiatives, compelling copywriting, and impactful content creation. You'll collaborate closely with journalists, providing them with relevant information, and actively pursue media coverage opportunities for Swyftx. 

Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:

• Assist in growing the profile of the business with key audiences by increasing media presence. 
• Develop and implement key public relation initiatives to support organisationalobjectives and strategy. 
• Create, maintain and manage media contact lists and editorial calendars across the cryptocurrency, finance, technology and business space. 
• Develop and enhance executive communications across external channels including events and government round tables. 
• Manage Risk by overseeing the media risk registry and providing executive leadership with media training, briefing and regular intelligence on emerging issues. 
• Assist in daily media reporting and monitoring to ensure Swyftx leaders are across emerging issues. 
• Collaborate with the wider Marketing Team and Sales Department to build strategic PR and event programs that support key brand priorities and objectives. 

To be successful you will have:

• Substantial experience in public relations, demonstrating a strong track record of success. 
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail, language, flow, and grammar. 
• Demonstrated ability to embody and maintain a consistent brand voice. 
• Established relationships with media outlets and journalists. 
• Proficiency in devising and executing strategic PR plans.
