About the PR and Events Planning Manager Position

TSX Entertainment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations & Event Planning Manager to join our fast-paced team in Times Square, New York. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of executing successful PR campaigns, managing communications strategies, and event planning in the entertainment and media industry. In this position, the candidate should have excellent leadership skills and be able to work effectively and various internal and external teams. 

Salary Range - $110K - $130K

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement successful PR campaigns and communication strategies to promote the company's brand, products, and new partnerships 
• Build media relations and act as a primary contact for all media inquiries.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists.
• Write and edit press releases, media alerts, and other communication materials.
• Collaborate with other teams to identify the public voice of the brand.
• Plan and execute successful events, including product launches, press conferences, and special events.
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiation, and event production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events and campaigns.
• Provide regular status updates to senior management on campaign and event performance.
• Manage budgets and provide cost-effective solutions to meet campaign and event goals.
• Monitor industry trends and provide recommendations for new communication and event strategies.
• Develop materials to educate internal staff on communication practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in PR, Communications, and Event Planning within the entertainment and media industry.
• Experience in planning and executing events - campaign launch, public gatherings, parties.
• Experience across digital, creative, communications and marketing environments
• Experience writing for and working directly with CEOs or other senior executives, including ghostwriting, speechwriting, social media profiles, presentations for internal and external consumption.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in managing teams and leading cross-functional projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of media relations, social media platforms, and event production.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
