This strategic role will help lead O.C. Tanner in driving greater overall awareness and continue to expand on our industry leadership and vision. The PR and Social Media Manager will oversee the management and execution of all public relations, social media and strategic communications efforts.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the social media calendar and strategy across all social platforms, with a global scope and focus.
- Create annual public relations plans, establish PR measurements and objectives, draft/review key announcements, bylined articles and manage other communication initiative and budgets.
- Effectively manage PR agency relationship and other marketing partners.
- Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on organization and community policies. Partner with key executives to establish and maintain a strategic social media presence.
- Collaborate with various marketing and cross-functional teams (content, creative, demand, CS, product and sales) to develop compelling messaging for all stages of the customer journey to support driving awareness, engagement and conversion.
- Build relationships with social influencers and thought leaders to grow industry awareness and leadership opportunities and engage them across marketing activities (events, speaking, social campaigns).
- Evaluate and develop opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and awards on an ongoing basis.
- Work to identify content opportunities for editorial coverage, contributed content and thought leadership exposure.
- Work closely with ongoing marketing campaigns and initiatives, like events, research report launches and product launches, contributing social media and PR leadership.
- Influence the development of written materials including press releases, talking points, blog posts and other internal/external communications.
- Own social media metrics; interpret the results and take action to increase engagement and effectiveness of social media efforts.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in social media or marketing communications; Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Proven track record designing and executing successful social media efforts at both a local and national level
- Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Google +, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and other social media best practices
- Experience working with marketing software similar to: Sprout Social, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Adobe Creative Suite and/or social media support aps
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- B2B/SaaS software experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with a wide group of stakeholders: executive management, marketing and sales colleagues, vendors, partners, clients, and prospects
- Experience with online news and social web monitoring tools desirable
- Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment; comfortable seeking out information throughout the company
