Summary/Objective The American Surgery Center is a multi-specialty surgery center focused on providing quality outpatient and same-day surgery for a variety of specialties. Our professional staff and physicians are fully committed to providing excellent patient care experience. Experienced Pre-Op & PACU nurses are needed to grow our facility! New graduates are encouraged to apply! Position Type/Expected Hours of Work We offer Monday - Friday shifts with NO weekends and NO holidays. • Preopcan range from5:00am-1:30pmand as late as6:30am-3:00pm. • PACUcan range from7:30am-4:00pmand as late as12:00pm-8:30pm. Preferred Education and Experience • Bachelor of Science in Nursing • BLS • ACLS- possess/obtain within 3 months of hire • Prior Pre-Op/PACU/Critical Care experience TheAmerican Surgery Centeris recognized under the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Inc. (AAAHC), the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP), designated a Blue Distinction Center for Bariatric Surgery, and an Aetna Institute of Quality.
