As a Pre-Sales Consultant, in the Corporate Solutions and Global Pre-Sales group, we support two sales segments across North America. Our PTX Segment is focused on driving growth in Secure Payments and Cash Management solutions, providing new and innovative solutions to our existing customers, prospects, and partners globally. Our Classic segment we have established products that customers have invested in over many years that are intrinsic to their business and processes. We help our customers grow and optimize their investments in Bottomline products, driving efficiencies and savings across their business.
You are Bottomline’s subject matter expert and solutions specialist, and are responsible for supporting our new business direct to corporate sales efforts. Your role is pivotal in supporting these segments with:
- Global focus selling to and through existing customers
- Data driven customer expansion strategy
- Leveraging the current partner relationships to expand coverage
- Dedicated team to collaborate with customers
How you'll contribute:
- Take full ownership of providing world class demonstrations of our solution to Enterprise prospects across North America
- Provide a consultative approach when speaking to prospects, analyzing each specific setup and drawing on experience to suggest the best way forward
- Own the production of the scoping documentation and statements of work
- Provide support to the sales team the bid process including managing the responses to RFI/RFPs.
- Attend webinars and Round Tables
- Create white Papers
- Work closely with Product & Sales to ensure there is regular feedback on the markets requirements vs the system capabilities to ensure continuity in the roadmap and ongoing development of the system.
What will make you successful:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within pre-sales
- Experience working closely with Product Teams
- SME in Document Automation, Payments, or Solution Engineering positions
- Excellent presentation skills
- Highly effective relationship building and motivational skills
- Excellent at following up and bringing a sense of urgency in answering questions, resolving issues, as well as coordinating internal cross functional teams to appropriately respond to needs
- Proven ability to assess strengths and gaps, and make suggestions for process improvement
- Highly organized and capable of working effectively individually and across functional groups
- Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets
- Ability to communicate and influence effectively at a senior level
- Highly Customer & commercially focused
- Understanding and appreciation of how to influence and lead cross-functional teams in different geographies and time zones
