Position Overview: The Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer will support Channel Partners, Renewals, and Customer Success teams by designing and implementing technical solutions tailored to our partners' and clients' unique needs. This role involves close collaboration with sales professionals, channel partners, and internal departments to ensure the successful progress and implementation of customer solutions.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Develop and implement technical solutions aligned with the specific needs for our new clients, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Collaboration with Channel Partners: Work closely with Channel Partners/Team to understand their requirements, gather and analyze data, create project plans, and present tailored proposals.
- Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support in the pre-sales stage to Channel clients, Customer Success and Renewals conversions, answering inquiries, offering guidance, and assisting with the maintenance and operation of solutions.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Address and resolve technical issues that arise during solution implementation to ensure smooth deployment.
- Demonstrations and Documentation: Collaborate with internal departments to create practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and document requirements for proposed updates to enhance the customer experience.
- Technology Improvement: Analyze current technologies within Foxit and develop processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proactive Problem Management: Anticipate potential project challenges or constraints and take proactive measures to manage and mitigate them.
- Customer Success: Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure customer satisfaction and successful upselling/new products offering by providing technical expertise and support.
- Renewals Support: Assist the Renewals team by identifying opportunities for solution enhancements and conversions during the renewal process.
Qualifications:
- Language Skills: Fluent in English and German; proficiency in an additional language is a significant plus.
- Sales and Leadership Skills: Preferred experience in software sales with strong leadership abilities. - IT and Cloud Infrastructure: Proven experience in developing IT and cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.
- Security Measures: Up-to-date understanding of best practices in system security measures. - Technical Expertise: Background in software engineering, customer experience, and design architecture, deployments in complex environments.
- Business Analysis: Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes.
- Operating Systems: Extensive knowledge and experience working with various operating systems and troubleshooting applications on Windows based platforms, MacOS, iOS, Android;
- Project Management: Professional experience in analyzing computer software and collaborating across departments for project execution.
- Flexibility: Open to candidates who may not meet every qualification but have unique skills and experiences relevant to the role.
