Precision CNC Operator

We're looking to add a reliable, detail-orientedCNC Machinistto help us meet growing demand. Job Summary: As a CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining our 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce precision parts from aluminum and stainless steel. You will work closely with our in-house design and engineering teams to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC 3-axis and 5-axis machines (Hurco, etc.) • Interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM files to machine components to spec • Perform tool selection, offset adjustments, and part inspections • Monitor and maintain tooling, material inventory, and machine condition • Collaborate with programming staff on CAM toolpath improvements and adjustments • Maintain clean, organized work area and ensure safety compliance • Accurately document part dimensions and job completion Qualifications: • Experience with 5-axis machining is highly preferred • Familiarity with materials like aluminum and stainless steel • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings • Basic knowledge of CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam, etc.) is a plus • Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills Nice to Have: • Experience in low-volume, high-precision custom part production • Automotive or motorsports background • Ability to run both 3-axis and 5-axis machines simultaneously Benefits: • Competitive pay based on experience • Opportunities for growth into programming or lead machinist roles • Collaborative, hands-on team environment • Access to advanced equipment and custom builds Job Type: Full-time Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Professional development assistance Schedule: • Monday to Friday • Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
