About the Team

Our Presales team is a strategic partner to the sales organization and responsible for building a compelling vision of the Workday solution for our customers and prospects in some of the largest organizations in the world. This is your chance to guide an outstanding team of Enterprise Financial Management subject matter experts selling software solutions to new and existing customers. You will be supported and surrounded by some of the brightest people in the industry; people who care about our customers and helping them accomplish the results they seek. You will partner with sales management and the broader sales organization to drive and accelerate our performance in achieving our growth goals for the Financial Services & Insurance (FSI) business while contributing to the hiring and development of the next generation of amazing Presales Solution Consultants at Workday.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic individual to lead a team of Presales Solution Consultants passionate about selling into our Large Enterprise FSI industries. You and your team will work closely with the Account Executives and Regional Sales Directors to continuously evolve and improve how we go to market in our net new and customer base segments. Collaborate with Sales to build pipeline and support demand generation activities, with shared responsibility for meeting and exceeding new business growth target.

In addition to process optimization and sales opportunity support, you will assist your team in growing their careers, and set the strategy and execution plan for your business. A key focus area for every Presales leader at Workday is to mentor and guide your team. Together, we will ensure the continual advancement of each team member in both skills and knowledge, enabling them to guide Workday's customers to outstanding business outcomes. When health and safety permits, you are comfortable traveling up to 50% of the time when necessary.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a sales-related role (sales, presales, value management, customer success, etc.) selling enterprise software
  • 4+ years in presales with a focus on the Office of the CFO including Enterprise Financial Management technologies
  • Track record of leadership (either as a people leader or individual contributor) related to sales opportunity strategy and mentorship

  • Financial Services and Insurance (Industries) experience desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Unrivaled presentation and influencing skills to C-level audience
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Proactive with a bias to action

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
