This position is for a BA - Business Applications Unit, part of CNS - Cloud & Network Services Business Group, focused on Cybersecurity domain to support assigned accounts in the North American (NAM) market. The Cybersecurity solutions expert, also known as Solution Manager, will drive new solutions and ideas with customers to address their pain points and will also develop accurate and convincing business/technical offers. In this role the candidate will guide and collaborate with services, sales and product groups to develop competitive solutions for the NAM market (RFP support, customer business and technical presentations, business development activities, coordinate demos/PoC, etc).
What you will learn and contribute to
In this role you will lead, create, and own technical offers that will drive sales and meet/exceed our financial targets. Main objective is to develop new business around these areas with our customers, as a key growth engine in 2023 and beyond. The candidate will have the opportunity to drive customer engagements across Pre-sales phases with competitive solutions (products & services) from technical and business point of view.
As part of our team, you will:
- Function as Nokia Cybersecurity Solutions SME (Subject Matter Expert) / Solution Manager with the capability to drive and influence solutions proposed to our customers.
- Be very proactive hunting for new opportunities in the assigned accounts in North America market.
- Lead the solution design throughout the project lifecycle and be accountable for solution integrity.
- Design cost effective solutions that maximize value to the customer and considers constraints such as budget, timelines, local market, and meeting customer requirements.
- Share and communicate end-to-end solutions (orally and in writing) in the cybersecurity domain to key stakeholders, business sponsors, and technical resources. Will guide various product experts with regard to the overall solution.
- Support demos of proposed products/solutions and coordinate customer's Proof of concept / trials.
- Provide recurrent feedback based on customer discussions and market needs to product management and R&D to enhance our solutions, to innovate with new features and capabilities, to adopt new industry best practices, to constantly improve the serviceability of our products, etc.
- Drive proactive collaboration and guidance with account managers to generate a strong pipeline that supports order and sales targets.
- Partner with Account Managers to identify and qualify new business opportunities by meeting with key decision makers to obtain executive sponsorship in pursuit of the overall strategy.
- Work with Alliance team to develop key and selected partners in order to extend our overall Cybersecurity solutions ecosystem.
Your skills and experience
- At least 5-6 years of proven pre-sales/sales/business development experience in selling Cybersecurity solutions.
- Hands-on technical experience in implementing and/or administrating Cybersecurity platforms is a plus.
- Experience in a software technology company and communications/telecom industry working with Service providers and working in large projects.
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity solutions and technologies such as Identity Access Management (IAM), Certificate Lifecycle Management, End-point Detection and Response (EDR), Audit Compliance, SIEM, SOAR with XDR solutions, etc and/or participated in MDR projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or directly Cybersecurity discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- Ability to understand technical value proposition and be capable of translate it into a business value position (i.e. consultative sales approach when proposing solutions).
- Proven experience in customer requirements analysis, solution design, dimensioning, commercial models and deployment options such as bare metal, virtualized, SaaS.
- Prior employment experience in selling cybersecurity solutions such as Identity access management, Certificate Management, End-point detection and respond (EDR solutions), Audit Compliance, SIEM, SOAR platforms with XDR and/or other relevant cybersecurity solutions.
- General understanding of Cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, standards and regulations.
- Overall understanding of 5G mobile networks architecture and their security considerations.
It would be valuable and consider as a plus if the candidate also has:
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA, CISM, GSEC, etc
- Cybersecurity Master's degree or specialization.
