Job Description
Job Title: Solutions Architect/Pre-sales Consultant
The Solutions Architect/Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant actively drives and manages the technology evaluation part of the sales process and is an integral member of the Sales team, working as the key technical advisor. In order to be successful in this role, the Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant must be able to articulate technology and communicate the value of our solutions/services to business and technical prospective users and decision makers.
Position Deliverables:
ยท Lead the technical / architecture projects and translating into digital strategy outcome
ยท Ability to produce custom development and systems integration requirements to engage clients and prospects
ยท Identify technical solutions that meet business objectives and use the most cost-effective solutions to meet business requirements
ยท Support the internal digital teams including Customer Experience, E-Commerce, Digital solutions to digital design
ยท Act as a subject matter expert on the impact of digital forces on business processes and to establish deep thought leadership in front of clients and within the organization
ยท Architect new solutions for digital transformations โ by building frameworks/POC's with emerging technologies
ยท Create and deliver technical demonstrations/presentations to support the sales cycle
ยท Perform technical discovery with customer prospects and quickly architect/build roadmaps/architecture documents for proposed solutions
ยท Design and Run Digital transformation workshops
ยท Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
ยท Responsible for representing the Company to customers and at field events such as webinars, luncheons, conferences, seminars, etc.
ยท Support Marketing with developer marketing and evangelism activities, including writing blogs, participating in demo-driven webinars, and speaking at industry events
What we are looking for?
ยท Expertise in Enterprise Architecture of Cloud and/or Application Software Development for Digital Age
ยท Experience with building custom solutions working with vendors like industry leading stack for Application Development & Cloud
ยท Experience responding to technical/functional elements in RFI's/RFP's
ยท Experience in developing proprietary frameworks, POC's to showcase solutions to customers
ยท Have a deep understanding of enterprise technologies and business context
ยท Actively research and discuss competitive information in the marketplace with the sales team and prospects
ยท Ensure appropriate requirement gathering and fulfilment โ responsible for customer satisfaction
Key Skills
ยท Have a Masters or Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology
ยท Pre-sales experience of at least 6 years
ยท Understanding of the Application Lifecycle phases (any industry/ sector)
ยท 5+ years Presales experience with Cloud.
ยท 10+ years of Professional Services experience with major System Integrators
ยท Preferred: Public Cloud certification e.g. AWS Certification as a Solution Architect Associate/Professional
ยท Expert level knowledge and working experience of AWS/Azure/Google products and services
ยท Significant working knowledge or hands-on experience of application development using Java or .NET or Open source frameworks
ยท Experience for building / proposing complex service offers to meeting customer requirements
ยท Proven hands-on cloud migration solution design / delivery experience
ยท Demonstrate capability to design cost effective high available systems on public / hybrid cloud and with environment estimation tools
ยท BS/Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related business degree.
ยท Client interfacing, relationship building, and consulting skills required
ยท Experience with Agile development methodologies
ยท Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ยท Ability to lead as well as work within a cross functional team
ยท Demonstrable experience in consulting & consultative selling
ยท Relationship building
ยท Strategic planning and thinking
ยท Analytical and problem solving skills
ยท Ability to articulate value proposition of solutions to various executives and stakeholders
ยท Must be willing to travel sometimes on very short notice
Qualifications
Enterprise Architecture of Cloud and/or Application Software Development
Presales experience with Cloud
AWS Certification as a Solution Architect Associate/Professional
of AWS/Azure/Google products and services
