Primrose School of Shady Hollow is a family-run preschool with an experienced leadership team and dedicated teacher support to ensure high quality care and education for all students. We are looking for a Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team of amazing teachers!
Preschool Teacher Responsibilities:
• Prepare for lessons and create engaging and interactive learning experiences for young children
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Provide individualized attention and support to meet the needs of each child
• Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
• Monitor and ensure the safety of all children in your care
Preschool Teacher Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children, if not in a formal school setting or childcare center, then something like babysitting, classes in child development, volunteer work, or sports coaching
• Ability to work 40 hours per week Monday-Friday
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Open to growth and learning, and dedicated to teamwork
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children
