Responsibilities • Friendly, inviting, self-motivated, and even-tempered individual. • Monitor student progress and tailor your teaching methods to meet the unique needs of all learners, we are reggio Inspired and play based learning • Building strong relationships with parents and guardians is essential, as you engage in meaningful discussions about student progress and address any concerns. • Can maintain effective classroom management and upholding school policies will create a safe and supportive learning environment for all. Requirements • Bachelor’s and/or Associate’s degree (preferred) with 12 units in early childhood education (required), covering child growth and development, child, family, and community, program/curriculum, and infant/toddler curriculum. • A strong understanding of childhood development principles. • At least 6 months of previous experience in early childhood teaching. Reggio experience is a plus, but not required. • The ability to create engaging instructional materials tailored to diverse learning styles. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. • Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly valued. Other Requirements • Current TB test; fingerprint clearance (LiveScan); current first aid & CPR certification.
