Presentation Designer

We are looking for a full-time Presentation Designer to join our Talent Development team. Our team works on the creation and facilitation of management and professional skills content for all Jane Street employees. In this role, you’ll help create and curate materials to showcase the programs and resources the Talent Development team creates. 

Your projects will be wide-ranging, and might include creating assets like presentations, workbooks, discussion guides, worksheets, training materials, and more. We’re looking for someone who is excited by having a sense of ownership over their work and expertise, and is able to not just execute a task, but think critically and intuitively about the best way to reach a solution. 

We are open to someone with an array of design interests and training, and we will endeavor to put yours to good use. Jane Street’s design thrives on curiosity and an ability to connect the dots to make an abstract or complex idea come to life. Being excited to try new things, ask great questions of colleagues, and work with them through concept and design are key to this role. Your ideas and solutions will make the team stronger. No previous financial experience is necessary to apply — only a keen desire to solve interesting problems. A portfolio of work is required.

• 5+ years of design experience
• A reliable team player with a “no job too small” attitude
• Able to work independently and effectively manage their own workload
• Comfortable working in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
• View feedback and iteration as keys to solving design puzzles
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint
• Comfortable working in Google Suite (especially Slides and Docs)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills
• Fluent in English
