Press Brake Setup/ Operator

## Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating power press machines to bend, form, stretch, and straighten metal plates and sheet metal to blueprint specifications. ## Duties • Prepare: Review blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine the required specifications for each job • Set up: Prepare and adjust the press brake as needed. Program the press and create programs for future use. • Operate: Select the appropriate tooling, dies, and machinery settings for each bending operation • Inspect: Inspect metal while shaping it and check the final products to ensure they are free of defects • Maintain: Perform regular maintenance on the press brake • Monitor: Monitor supply levels and ensure work areas are clean and organized • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
