Job Description

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous Leadership experience preferred but not required
  • Materials Layup Expert
  • Experience using Word, Excel, Email, Etc.
  • Strong communication at the Team level
  • Ability to coach & mentor press operators
  • Ability to follow and enforce SOP's
  • Proactive
  • Task Driven
  • Detail Oriented
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Basic Math Computation
  • Write, speak, and understand English.
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Able to work overtime and weekends as required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Lead day to day Press operations
  • Act as a backup to the Shift Supervisor
  • Oversee Proper Press set up & operation
  • Upholding Staff Expectations & Accountability
  • Department Training & Certification
  • Quality Inspections & Audits
  • Basic Root Cause Analysis
  • Basic Data collection and reporting
  • Schedule Execution
  • Data Entry
  • Labor Management
  • Meeting or exceeding all operational KPI's
  • Maintain a clean and safe factory
  • Follow and enforce all company policy, rules, and guidelines

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Heavy lifting required. (up to 50 LBS)
  • Prolonged standing.
  • Repetitive bending, pushing, & pulling
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Noisy industrial equipment
  • Dust and Debris
  • Warehouse temperature variations
  • (40-60 Hours during peak seasons)
