JOB BRIEF

The Price Checker is responsible for shopping for product prices from competitors; retrieving prices from

competitors, entering product prices into excel spreadsheets, providing product prices reports on a daily basis.

Other duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION:

  • Starting rate is $16.00 per hour.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Travels to designated competitors on a daily basis
  • Purchases products at competitors while handling company cash or credit card daily
  • Records prices of products from competitors daily
  • Enters prices and price types from competitors into Excel Spreadsheets daily
  • Emails spreadsheets to corporate daily
  • Communicates with Price Check Supervisor and Manager of Pricing

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
  • Solid computer skills, which should include: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Internet navigation
  • Excellent verbal, oral, written communication skills
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Clean driving record (MVR)
  • MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENCE AND WILLING TO DRIVE

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
