Pricing Analyst

Basic Function

As a member of our Engineered Composites Commercial Team, the Pricing Analyst is responsible for maintain the correct pricing for sales orders. Responsibilities also include managing the Sales Change Process and assist the Account Managers in Managing Price in the SAP ERP System. The Pricing Analyst will also handle monthly pricing checks to ensure that the price in the system matches with the correct price.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Participates in the monthly Pricing Process to ensure that invoiced prices match with our system price.
• Documents contract pricing information into analytical tools for reporting.
• Assures invoice accuracy, monitors metrics and supports efforts to maintain/enhance operational excellence and improve customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for effective implementation of mass price updates by incorporating price protection and caps, where applicable, to ensure accuracy.
• Assists the Account Managers with correct pricing data to assist in Quoting Process for the Account Manager.
• Researches, coordinates and provides pricing knowledge and expertise to respond to Accounting, and to Internal and External Control audit compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with a major in Supply Chain Management, Information and Operations Management, Logistics Technology, Industrial Distribution, Accounting/Finance or related degree from an accredited university. 4+ years related experience required in lieu of degree.
• SAP Expertise on Commercial Operations including Price Management.
• The ideal candidate will have strong computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate complex problem resolution proficiency and capability to identify/implement process and system enhancements.
• Be able to effectively communicate critical pricing information to all levels of the organization.
• Seeks out and is open to knowledge, ideas, and feedback to improve effectiveness.
