Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Nashville, TN based Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing & Valuations Team in Global Technology & Operations.
Role Description
The Pricing Analyst will work closely with the Audit, IT, SRM and Corporate Actions and Portfolio Management teams to independently and accurately calculate and report an end of day valuation for all assets held. The Pricing Team supports most core functions at AB including Global Fund Accounting, Client Reporting and Performance, Portfolio Management, Legal and Compliance, and Financial Reporting. Pricing is responsible for timely and accurate valuations of all assets held in client accounts. The data distributed by this team effects daily valuation, Mutual Fund NAV's, regulatory reporting, financial reporting, and trading.
Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Researching securities and prices to provide accurate reporting metrics.
- Reviewing exception reports and responding to queries.
- Communicating with custodians and internal stakeholders.
- Challenging vendor recommendations if necessary.
- Working with AB funds administration and participating in the Valuation Committee reviews and meetings, keeping track of securities held and priced. Distributing prices as needed.
- Performing ad hoc pricing analysis of portfolios or target portfolios.
- Updating and maintaining an internal reporting database.
- Assisting in monthly SEC reporting, technology projects, program initiatives, and changes due to regulatory updates.
