SUMMARY

The Pricing Analyst Supports highly visible strategic projects analyzing and providing simple conclusions from complex data to Senior Management. The role will include monthly price maintenance, product-margin reporting and analysis, ad-hoc analysis and financial modeling.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance or related field.
• 4-7 years of professional experience

• Ability to synthesize and evaluate complex data
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills and ability to collaborate with others
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience with Data visualization tools (i.e., Tableau).
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
• Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience with financial statement analysis, discounted cash flow, financial metrics and general ledger
• Sales and Marketing financial background a plus
• Experience with NetSuite or similar business accounting and ERP suites.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current and historical results of pricing activity to identify actionable opportunities and make recommendations for optimal financial performance of product categories.
• Initiate pricing/promotional programs at the category/sku level to meet financial targets.
• Drive change in company practices and be a resource for pricing system process enhancements.
• Provide analysis including key performance indicators, revenue and margin analysis and business trends.
• Maintain financial models, templates and databases to support executive decision making.
• Analysis of potential partnerships, acquisitions and new business models interpreting information and recommend actions.
• Support the development of the annual budget process and reforecast efforts.
• Review actual results verses predicted results and prepare monthly variance statements.
