The Opportunity

As a Pricing Analyst at HSN, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our pricing strategies and ensuring competitive positioning in the market. Reporting to the Manager of Pricing Analytics, the ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to interpret market trends. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement pricing models, analyze data, and provide insights that drive informed business decisions that drive profitability.

Your Impact

  • Develop and maintain pricing models to evaluate product profitability across all sales platforms
  • Collaborate with the planning teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives including price tier management by division
  • Analyze historical sales data and market trends to identify patterns and correlations
  • Evaluate the financial impact of pricing decisions on overall business profitability
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure pricing strategies align with budgetary goals
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather insights and align pricing strategies with business objectives
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer behavior
  • Monitor and analyze competitor pricing strategies, promotions, and market positioning

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. Master's degree is a plus
  • Proven experience as a Pricing Analyst or in a similar analytical role
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and modeling using tools such as Excel, SQL, or specialized pricing software

Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
