This is a hybrid role based in Malvern, PA
CubeSmart is seeking to hire a Pricing Analyst to join the Revenue Management team at our corporate office in Malvern, PA. The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for setting and updating prices for storage units at CubeSmart's 1,400 self-storage locations across the country.

Responsibilities
About the position:
CubeSmart is a leader in the development and deployment of innovative pricing and analytical techniques both within the self-storage industry and more broadly. CubeSmart constantly monitors and dynamically updates available storage unit rates, and the analyst will use output from these systems to evaluate and manage these rates. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, a strategic thinker, have a strong analytical mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Review and determine pricing for stores across the country; interface with the Company's proprietary pricing model to evaluate output and override pricing system recommendations where warranted.
- Propose and evaluate the changes to the company's promotions and discounts.
- Interact daily with District Managers across the nation, evaluating local market business trends and recommend changes to pricing strategy in reaction to those business trends.
- Create, maintain, and improve internal reports on operational trends and pricing and promotion efficacy.
- Contribute to additional revenue-related activities, such as periodic evaluation of current customer rates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in Accounting, Business, Engineering or other quantitative discipline.
- 0-2 years of pricing or accounting experience is a plus, but is not necessary; extensive training will be provided
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel; experience using advanced functions such as formulas, shortcut keys, and formatting/charting features a plus.
- Experience with SQL a plus, but not required.
- Independent thinker with the ability to learn new topics quickly through self-initiated research; ability to think creatively and challenge the status quo.
- Ability to work effectively in both individual and group settings.
