Job Description

What You’ll Do:

As a Pricing Analyst you will play a key role in developing and setting pricing strategies for our company’s government contract bids.  Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, you will work cross functionally with sales, program management and operations to ensure that pricing is aligned with our company’s objectives and compliant with government regulations.

Position Responsibilities 
  • Conduct research and analysis on government regulations, market trends, and competitor pricing to support pricing decisions
  • Develop pricing strategies that take into account the unique requirements of government contracts, including cost structures, regulatory compliance, and bid/proposal strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that pricing strategies align with company objectives, product/service offerings, and financial targets
  • Prepare pricing documentation, including cost and pricing data, in accordance with government regulations and requirements
  • Support the preparation of proposals and bid submissions, including the development of pricing narratives and cost volumes
  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitive pricing to ensure that our company remains competitive and is pricing appropriately for government contracts
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and changes to government regulations and requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of the responsibilities listed above)
Pre-Requisites
  • Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in pricing, government contracts, and/or bid/proposal development
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience in conducting market research and pricing analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex pricing strategies to cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of government contract regulations and requirements, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
Preferred Skills
  • Defense and aerospace industry experience
  • Understanding of DoD contracting types, policies, and practices, including government-based major system requirements
