The Pricing and Revenue Management Analyst will support the revenue management team through analytics, innovation, and challenging the status quo by using intellectual curiosity to drive analysis that results in innovation. Provides primary analytical support to the pricing and revenue management team members to include projects to be presented to the senior management team for implementation. Responsible to evaluate the technology stack and processes with a fresh perspective, look for ways to improve, develop hypothesis, test and/or prove the concept, and put together a case for institutionalizing the outcome. Responsible for regular reporting duties, proofs of concept for a pricing system, operations research, and special projects that benefit our investors. This position plays a critical role in helping AMH and 3PM maximize revenue growth by implementing data-driven pricing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Create proofs of concept and test performance for permanent inclusion into our pricing and revenue management platform as well as interface with the development and BA teams to ensure execution.
• Provide analytical support for the pricing and revenue management team through ad hoc analysis, customizing reports to support our business needs, and using intellectual curiosity to lead us to optimal outcomes.
• Drive efficiency improvements to serve as the subject matter expert (SME) to critically observing how to manage the business and proving concepts that lead to faster, more efficient, and better decisions and outcomes.
• Serves as the SME for analytical support, both internal and across other departments when it comes to top-line revenue.
• Create, evaluate, and disseminate reporting package that monitors leasing performance, inventory balances, pricing anomalies, and renewal performance in a way that provides value to senior leadership through recommendations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or other related field or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience of analytical experience preferred. Revenue Management experience is a plus.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Tableau (or similar BI platform) preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong relationship management, negotiation, people management, employee development and conflict resolution skills.
• Insatiable intellectual curiosity, creativity, and drive to innovate.
• Must have a passion for driving exceptional results through analytics.
• Must be able to manage multiple deadlines.
