The Pricing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of prices to include maintaining and updating prices on a regular basis for the business in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update regularly pricing history in AS400
- Ensure suitable pricing is logged in a timely manner
- Prioritize and stimulate all identified actions to execution
- Conduct analysis as well as implement all price changes
- Help customer service and team members resolve pricing discrepancies
- Coordinate external and internal communication of entire pricing and item changes
- Establish and maintain relationships, internal and external
- Maintain documented records with precision
- Drop Ship Mailbox:
o Place market drop ships
o Verify drop ship PO confirmations with vendors
o Work with Sales/Customer Service to reconcile drop PO/sales order cost, sell and quantity discrepancies
o Expedite/Follow up for Sales/Customer Service on drop ship POs
o Daily audit report to make sure all drop ship sales orders have POs attached
o Maintain all drop ship POs status - close out backorders/zero cost/late-past due
o Get costs from other branches for Sales/Customer Service and confirm communicated costs are accurate/short pays
o Drop Ships - High touch/labor intensive - Assist with drop ship billings
- Assist Buyers with tracking/expediting POs as required
- Maintain Price Increase Spreadsheet for sales folder
- PO Confirmation Mailbox:
- Verify all normal POs placed in Great Lakes Market
- Manage unconfirmed PO Report and follow up with Suppliers
- Communicate quantity issues with Buyers
- Reconcile price issues on PO's with Suppliers vs. price lists and update as needed
- PO Confirmations: Single most important task as it relates to maintaining accurate pricing; high touch/heavy follow up
- Pricing Mailbox:
- Receive updated price communication from suppliers/Corporate Office/Buyers/Product Managers
- Maintain price lists/letters in shared folders for Purchasing/Sourcing and Sales
- Update local price increase spreadsheet updating for increase input
- Follow up and work with suppliers to ensure accurate, most recent price lists on file
- Additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an office environment
- Strong problem solving, analytical and investigation skills
- Ability to multi-task projects, establish priorities, work independently and organize effectively
- Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational and communication skills and have ability to work under pressure
- Communication skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; AS400 experience is a plus
- Require office experience in a professional environment
- Motivated self-starter with the interpersonal skills required to work with others in a collaborative environment
- Comfortable learning new systems; quick learner
