** This is a hybrid working position and will REQUIRE some working days in the corporate office @ 241 Ralph McGill Blvd, Atlanta, GA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate ideas by working effectively with colleagues and customers to bring about the design, development and implementation of rates or products that meet the needs of our customers, employees, regulatory stakeholders, and shareholders
- Responsible for developing the rate design and Minimum Filing Requirements (MFR's) for Retail Rate Case
- Analyze historical customer usage to develop forecasts by rate that will support price changes
- Create testimony, data requests, and exhibits as required
- Support other regulatory filings (e.g., Integrated Resource Planning, Fuel filings, updates to various cost recovery riders) as required
- Provide input on large scale company programs and initiatives such as growing profitability and economic development, along with fostering innovation
- Conduct analysis on customer behaviors, usage changes, and revenue impacts of various rate designs or price changes
- Partner with key stakeholders to implement new pricing programs to ensure successful outcomes and positive customer experiences. For example, working with the Technology Organization to ensure accurate billing and supporting our Call Center to ensure that customer questions are properly addressed.
- Develop and deliver helpful communications for internal partners to support their understand of our regulatory filings and new pricing programs or products
- Develop informative tools and messages that can be used to help educate customers on our pricing programs to ensure a successful experience and customer acceptance
Education
- 4 year degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or similar technical field
- MBA a plus
- 4-5 years professional experience in Utility or related field
- Utility experience in Pricing, Costing, Finance, Accounting, Forecasting, Resource Planning or an area requiring similar analytical expertise
- Non-Utility Professional experience working with pricing strategies, data analytics, forecasting, or financial analysis
- Extensive experience working with complex Excel models
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to people with various levels of understanding
- Demonstrated ability to use creative thinking to solve complex problems
- Understanding of business and utility industry fundamentals
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Familiarity with Georgia Power rates is a plus
- Knowledge of utility costing and pricing principles is a plus
- Strong project management skills preferred, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Computer and modeling skills including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint including advanced financial and statistical functions
- Experience with SAS or other similar programming languages for statistical analysis is a plus
- Demonstrated sound judgment and appropriate level of risk-taking in decision making
- Experience implementing marketing techniques to achieve Company goals and objectives
- Understanding of financial techniques for evaluating cost, present value, cash flows, return on equity and investment
- Understanding of how to interpret and apply market research, create strategies, and implement new pricing ideas
