Why this role matters

We are looking for a Pricing Manager, based in EMEA, who will take ownership of the commercial strategy and pricing offer for certain API products including large partnerships. This role will be responsible for defining a competitive pricing strategy and discount policy, working closely with Product Managers, Partner Managers, Product Marketing and Sales. Regular review of the competitive landscape and good understanding of standard commercial offers will be required. This role will also play a part in driving requirements for a more automated quoting/rating journey, helping the business to scale. Close partnership with different stakeholders on driving the go-to-market strategy and operationalization of pricing models.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of the Standard Pricing and Pre-approved Pricing frameworks for large partnerships and API products 
• Provide analysis around trends in commercial requests and pricing. Take action on trends revealed, driving changes in pricing and costs model.
• Streamline and improve business practices, including tools, templates and processes, to increase the efficiency of the Deal Desk & Pricing team
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Carrier teams to support the growth of our business via partners, and improve operational efficiency to support that business
• Define and manage projects to deliver further operational efficiencies

What's required for application

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Economics, Math or Engineering undergrad majors preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a rapidly changing, deadline-based position involving daily interaction with multiple levels of management and peers
• Experience in modeling commercial offers specially on large global partnerships
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem solving
• Excellent Excel skills and data manipulation
