As a Founding Member of the Product Pricing Strategy Team, you will have the exciting opportunity to chart your own course and develop and execute comprehensive pricing strategies for our suite of products including Analytics, Experiments, CDP, Session Replay and more. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including company leadership, product management, finance, sales, and marketing, you will be instrumental in driving Amplitude’s market penetration, maximizing customer value, and driving revenue growth. This role will starts as an individual contributor role reporting directly to the VP of Strategic Initiatives.
In this role, you will:Â
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define the overall pricing strategy and framework for our product portfolio.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and pricing opportunities.
- Develop pricing & packaging strategies that meet customer needs, align with product positioning, and maximize revenue potential
- Analyze pricing data, customer behavior, and market dynamics to create pricing models.
- Design and conduct pricing experiments to test and validate pricing hypotheses and inform data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product management teams to understand product value propositions, pricing sensitivities, and competitive differentiation.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing guidelines, sales enablement, and go-to-market strategies.
You will be a great fit if you have:
- 2+ years of experience working in consulting, investment banking, or strategy/finance role Â
- 4+ years of experience in pricing & packaging, monetization strategy, or business model strategy role, preferably B2B SaaSÂ
- Distinctive strategic problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Outstanding financial modeling , written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.  Â
- Excellent communication skills, experience building presentations for an executive audience
- Highly flexible and adaptive, able to multi-thread across a number of simultaneous projects
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and a results-driven mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, statistics or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $162,000 - $244,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $181,000 - $271,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $181,000 - $271,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $162,000 - $244,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $162,000 - $244,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus)
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally, a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
