As a Pricing Operations Intern, you will be responsible for one of the most critical phases of the deal flow: assessing pricing accuracy with the contract, configuring pricing, and validating applied pricing. While interning, you'll learn our end-to-end price-to-contract process and seek to become a subject matter expert in pricing implementation. You'll have the opportunity to partner with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Customer Success Managers, Legal, Compliance, and Pricing Platform teams. We are looking for someone with great attention to detail, a willingness to ask questions, and a desire to execute flawlessly.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of pricing structures, procedures and processes for variety of products
- Support pricing configurations for custom deals
- Ensure that all pricing controls are met in every step of the pricing setup process
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and work more efficiently while minimizing any errors in execution
- Design and document policies and best practices for making pricing changes
- Provide input in the error remediation process and ensure that controls are in place to avoid any recurrences
Required Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:
- Interest in FinTech and the pricing operations function
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fast learner with excellent problem-solving skills, especially when faced with ambiguity
- Ability to multitask & work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
- Biased toward action with excellent time-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including strengths in influencing, conflict management, and negotiation
- Experience with Excel preferred
Internship Program Information and Requirements:
- This is a Summer 2024 Internship program. Spring and Fall 2024 internships are not available.
- Must currently be pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Must be returning to school in the Fall of 2024.
- Must reside in the U.S. during the Summer internship program.
- Must be able to obtain authorization to work in the U.S. for the summer.
