Pricing Operations Specialist

Position Summary:

In the Pricing Operations Specialist position, you'll maintain costing and pricing data within Direct Supply's Equipment & Furnishing business to ensure competitiveness and profitability on hundreds of thousands of products. In this role you will be at the center of the Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations departments on key initiatives. This role also directly supports all Direct Supply's largest and most strategic customers providing the opportunity to work with senior sales employees and executive leadership throughout the year.

What You'll Do & Impact:

• Implement established processes that ensure accurate costing and pricing throughout Direct Supply systems.
• Input, audit and maintain pricing related information in databases using Excel, Access, SQL and other internal tools.
• Coordinate and communicate data management activities of the costing and pricing operations team with all other departments.
• Provide support to all team members and stakeholders for questions related to costing and pricing information in Direct Supply systems.
• Maintain and revise procedural and training documentation for the costing and pricing operations team.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with a business or technical focus
• 1+ years of operational experience in a data rich environment
• Experience driving results on cross functional projects and process improvements.
• Advanced knowledge using Microsoft Excel.

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Pricing experience in a high transaction, technology driven environment.
• Demonstrated SQL experience, including the ability to write, maintain and run queries.
• Familiarity with writing Microsoft Excel Macro's or Google App Script.
• Experience with statistical software (Python, R, Stata, etc.) and/or AI (Chat GPT, Bing, etc.)
