ABOUT THE POSITION

The North America Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team focuses on our outlet, brand, and employee stores within the US and Canada. From merchandising to retail marketing to retail operations, there is a highly collaborative team working "behind the scenes" to ensure our consumers have a positive experience in our stores.

The Pricing Optimization Manager will be responsible for partnering with our Merchandising, Planning, and E-comm Site operations team, as well as other key stakeholders to provide in depth strategic price and promotion analysis. This person will report to the Senior Director of Merchandising and help deliver robust insights and analyses for our different product lines.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
  • Lead our brick & mortar and retail pricing function to create and execute data-driven competitive retail price strategies as well as relevant programming to drive profit and unit targets across all product categories.
  • Develop and lead a team focused on regional pricing, promotional initiatives, store pricing execution, E-comm pricing execution and PowerBI report/visualization creation & support.
  • Drive incremental profit margin improvement utilizing data-driven insights and cross-functional influence in both brick and mortar and E-comm businesses.
  • Serve as the business lead for B&M and E-comm price optimization software. Responsible for training & influencing Merchant team members on system best practices to maximize sales and margin.
  • Assist in the management of inventory through in-store and online pricing recommendations.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance throughout the organization on price elasticity implications for retail pricing, promotions, and merchandising strategies in both brick and mortar and e-comm.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams on ad-hoc performance measurement, provide data-driven recommendations in both brick and mortar and e-comm.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the pricing area with passion for streamlining processes and leveraging data management and statistical analysis technology to drive price optimization in both brick and mortar and e-comm.

YOU ARE
  • A strong leader who is enthusiastic about mentoring and developing capabilities in others.
  • Proficient in manipulating data including statistical analysis and advanced math calculations.
  • Well-versed in retail math including intricacies of open-to-buy, inventory turnover and gross margin.
  • Able to work successfully in a team environment and across multiple functions and departments

YOU HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
  • 8+ years' experience in a retail analytical function, apparel preferred
  • Proficient with reporting software and programming languages; Excel, PowerBI, MS Dynamics D365, Retalon, SQL/R/Python, Adobe Analytics, or Salesforce SFCC.
