Pricing Rebate Analyst
Job Description
Position Overview:
The Auditor will be responsible for the review of distributor rebates, pricing and return claims according to selling policy 25-000 guidelines. Auditing the authenticity of rebates will be accomplished by analyzing ales data by product type using Excel and internal programs such as Mentor and Vista. Audit findings will include collecting unauthorized transactions from customers and incorporating recommendations for future improvements in policies and procedures.

In this function you will:
- Assist in establishment of audit schedule for onsite and in-house rebate audits. Once audit schedule is completed, maintain schedule and complete all requirements required for completion of individual audits
- Provide support and guidance for enhancing sales rebate processes through: 1) monitoring sales audits, 2) reviewing exemption certificates for sales tax audits, 3) system enhancement to include ensure automatic generated report to notify Customer, Credit and Financial Services (CCFS) of rejected claims, and 4) reviewing feasibility of scanning exemption certificates for automated retrieval for audit purposes.
- Work with IT to develop audit program to automate current manual review process, which compares purchases with deduction transactions
- Focus monthly on key metrics that track audit program outstanding audits versus completed audits and special audit requests.
- Submit quarterly operations reports which outline root cause problems, action plans, conclusions and process improvements based on audit findings.
- Meet forty-hour minimum training requirement.
- Review TSP report monthly.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 2 years of customer-facing, audit, accounting, or similar experience required
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Prior audit experience
- One year of pricing experience
Position Criteria:
- Knowledge of credit terms and conditions
- General computer skills and experience (Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Internet, etc.)
- Experience with Vista or Oracle.
- Claims processing experience
- Ability to understand financial theory and effect of claim clearances on profitability
- Ability to apply basic accounting principles in the interpretation of customer financial statements
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Customer focus and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics and values
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions
- Ability to develop relationships with internal and external customers
