Job Description:
Arrow Electronics brings technology solutions to a breadth of markets including information systems, transportation, medical, industrial, telecommunications, and consumer electronics. We serve as a supply channel partner for over 100,000 original equipment manufacturers, contract manufacturers and commercial customers through a global network.
The Pricing Specialist is the liaison/interface between Arrow's Sales organization and our product suppliers, requesting and maintaining pricing quotes and ensuring pricing information is up to date in multiple systems at all times, and ensuring positive business relationships are maintained every step of the way!
This is a hybrid position. Employees work in the Arrow office 3 days per week and from home the rest of the week. The office is presently located at 1162 Spring Lake Dr., Itasca, IL, and will move to our NEW CHICAGO LOCATION on Warrenville Road in Lisle, IL early 2024.
What You'll Be Doing:

• Analyzing market trends, supplier performance, and objectives to facilitate Arrow's pricing strategy
• Building strong relationships with our suppliers
• Facilitating communication among segment managers, product specialists, sales teams, and purchasing.
• Monitoring and reporting supplier price performance and generating and maintaining reporting and spreadsheets
• Facilitating communication with suppliers regarding customers and pricing quotes
• Interfacing with suppliers and internal Arrow departments including sales, purchasing, and finance to complete the debit renewal process
• Maintaining pricing and other key details in multiple systems
• Responding to requests promptly, verifying and preparing information for suppliers and inside sales teams
• Managing workload and tasks effectively to provide excellent service to suppliers and other Arrow departments

What We're Looking For:

• Typically requires a 4-year degree and 3-5 years of related experience
• Strong experience with product pricing and negotiation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Electronic components (semiconductor, interconnect, passives, electromechanical) industry experience a plus
• Strong background in customer service
• Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships with a variety of internal and external clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables Vlookup and macros a plus
• Ability to shift priorities quickly and effectively and manage high volume workloads
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Background in material planning, procurement, quotes, purchasing, or related industry order management experience a plus
• ERP experience: Oracle/SAP is preferred

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$80,800.00 - $97,900.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
