Job Summary
This is a broadly based position includes duties in the sales support and purchasing arenas. Responsible for sourcing of materials in support of the Aftermarket sales group utilizing existing suppliers and evaluating new sources to remain competitive within our market.
Essential Functions
- Perform as the liaison between parts suppliers, inside Sales Specialists to ensure timely and correct pricing of parts and supporting information.
- Exercise sound judgment based on broad knowledge of products and parts needs to ensure that customer requirements are correctly met in a timely manner.
- Complete and execute Aftermarket requests for quotation in support of the sales department, including establishing costs, delivery and selling prices.
- Assist in maintaining and populating selling prices in Aftermarket price books.
- Source customer requested products for pricing and availability as required.
- Assist in maintaining and developing supplier relationships.
- Interface with Aftermarket Purchasing Department, coordinating changes in supply chain and recommending new sources of supply.
- Be able to identify problems and opportunities.
- Assist in gathering data for price book maintenance and market intelligence.
- Position required the regular exercise of problem solving and policy procedure interpretation skills.
- Ability to handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the Company is required.
- May create Aftermarket customer invoices and Customs documents in support of shipments.
- May complete Intercompany invoicing.
- May be responsible for management of freight costs for Aftermarket customer invoices and General Ledger coding for freight invoices.
- Complete Ad-Hoc projects as assigned.

Physical Skill and Effort
Limited manual dexterity required. Work requires simple, easy muscular movements.
Working Conditions and Hazards
Normal office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Negligible/little or no exposure to hazardous conditions or materials
Education:
A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory. An Associate's Degree in Business or Liberal Arts is preferred. Five years of Purchasing experience is preferred.
Experience:
Computer competency including Outlook, Word, Excel, required with IFS background a plus.
