About the Role

As a Senior Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible to manage the various cost and pricing elements of the quotation process to produce comprehensive and cohesive responses to customer requests within a strict time schedule. You communicate on financial impact, revenue, and commercial considerations to the appropriate Managers/Directors. This position is given a high degree of autonomy, it is expected from a Senior Pricing Specialist to manage peaks in workload appropriately, whilst the company supports to keep a healthy work-life balance.

Note: This role is a remote position. You can be based in Southern America.

How you will contribute

• Responsible for leading large and complex global pricing opportunities:
  • Create a pricing model that accurately reflects the solution presented to a customer.
  • Assist Bid Team / Senior Management to achieve the target price and margin requirements by providing continuous feedback on overall cost impacts, solution alternatives, continuous improvement opportunities and relevant pricing alternatives and options.
  • Evaluate pricing risks and mitigation strategies ensuring pricing integrity while considering syncreon's profitability guidelines and targets.
  • Document pricing/solution assumptions and creating a client facing pricing language document with assumptions and pricing specific terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with the Solution Engineering team, Sales, Operations and Corporate Service Functions to design solutions that meet the needs of our global customers;
• Perform win validation and implementation support to ensure pricing aligns with final Statement of Work;
• Review of contracts terms and conditions to ensure these align with pricing models/P&L and suggest negotiation parameters with sales;
• Engage with customers to explain pricing and/or assist sales in negotiations;
• Assist in the development of innovative and user friendly pricing models/tools to keep up with an ever changing and dynamic business environment and to close pricing information gaps regarding costs, customer and competition.

Your Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering or related; Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of professional experience ideally in pricing, finance/accounting or engineering.
• Advanced Excel skills is a must.
• Strong ability to develop relationships and set expectations with Senior Level Executives.
• Self-motivated professional with the capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure calculating pricing impacts quickly, accurately and confidently with Senior Leadership.
• Experience with successfully managing complex and multiple projects. Able to work with limited data.
• Experience with working with deadlines and demonstrated time management skills.
• Occasional travel to client sites and able to travel with 24-hour notice if needed.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
