Sensia Global have a new and exciting opportunity due to growth for a Pricing Strategy Manager , this position can be based in either of our global offices. This position is responsible for determining the pricing strategy and execution process for the company's product portfolio. This includes assembling and analyzing data from multiple sources and formulating data-driven analytics, pricing segmentation models, and commercial tools to promote sustainable, profitable, and quantifiable revenue growth. Collaboration with the regional and global business units, sales, finance, and external stakeholders to ensure strategies are implemented and sustainable.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.
- Assist with pricing negotiations of customers' proposals.
- Assist the proposals team in preparing Best and Final Offers.
- Conduct oral presentations, field research and cost revisions.
- Establish method for competitive pricing intelligence and maintain a database of market intelligence.
- Maintain and regularly update a pricing history database.
- Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness.
- Define new business procedures, evaluate resource requirements and stimulate implementation or maintenance of pricing system.
- Manage total pricing procedure, enhance processes to make most of efficiencies and ensure timely response to market conditions.
- Manage and supervise pricing analysts to support activities inclusive of new price generation and discrepancy resolution etc.
- Perform partnering with buyers, product managers and sales department to ensure integrated profit maximizing approach to market.
- Analyze financial impact of price approach in view of overall history as well as profitability of customer.
- As new products are released, work with the team to set policies on pricing. These include the base price as well as discounts that may be extended to specific retail partners and dealers.
Experience:
- 5 years experience in a similar position in the Oil and Gas Industries
- Strong Commercial Acumen
- Experience in developing strong commercial and strategic processes
- Education - Degree or Equivalent relatable experience
