Pricing Supervisor- Job Description

Priority1 is a growing technology and logistics company that is searching for a Pricing Supervisor to develop and lead a segment of our business. The Pricing Supervisor will report directly to the Vice President of Pricing and will be responsible for the continued development of our pricing strategies, product development, and support of a sales team to go to market. This leader should be highly competitive, goal and task-oriented, and have excellent organization and management skills.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Supervise the Pricing Team in data entry, data analysis, and other routine reports
  • Assign and review work to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain relationships with carriers to grow the LTL business segment
  • Train, mentor, and coach a high-performance team
  • Serve as the LTL Pricing Subject Matter Expert for cross-departmental projects
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all entities involved with Priority 1 Inc.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Less-Than-Truckload Pricing or a related logistics role
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and pays attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Positive attitude
  • Multi-tasking is a must
  • Ability to work within set deadlines
  • Knack for adapting to constant changes in work environment, work assignments, and/or changes in priorities

Skills and Experience in:

  • Microsoft Office (Primarily Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Customer Service

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, or a related field is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

Job functions require long periods of sitting and working from computer workstation; ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize daily workload; excellent organization and record keeping skills; comfortable with oral and written communications, primarily on the telephone and email. Requires extended periods of sitting, normal walking, bending, twisting, and stretching. Capability of sight and hearing required. Ability to deal with stressful situations and occasionally working extended hours.
