Job Description

The Principle of Project Management is responsible for implementing the company's process development & improvement initiatives through process development, training, and implementing with cross functional teams. Works with all levels and business lines within the company to implement projects. Windstream's process improvement approach utilizes Agile and Lean Six Sigma methodologies among others. This specific position will be part of the Order Management and Billing Integration Support team in the Integration Management Organization (IMO). Position will partner with the Order Management, Service Delivery, Billing/Revenue Assurance and the Customer Support teams to integrate applications to the go forward Windstream target stack. For Billing/Revenue Assurance the specific processes are: Quote to Order to Cash including quoting, invoicing, payments/collection, switch to bill audits, adjustments, and deductions. For Service Deliver and Customer Support the processes are: Agent workflow, Customer self-service, Collaboration, and enterprise reporting/feedback. Previous experience in billing systems, order management systems, finance/accounting and customer support/care would be beneficial. Telecom industry experience is highly desired. Plans, performs and implements data acquisition and manipulation techniques to integrate systems. Requires in-depth experience with Extract Transform and Load (ETL) processes and procedures. Diagrams and evaluates existing processes. Organizes leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams. Develops metrics that provide data for measurement of success and completeness, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. Collects data to identify root cause of problems. Measures performance against process requirements. Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls. Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality. May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control. Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes. Communicates team progress. Performs cost and benefit analyses. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications: College degree in a Technical or related field and 8+ years professional level experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 12+ years professional level related Technical experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Technical experience desired.
