Principal AI Architect

Job Summary:

This exciting opportunity is full-time and permanent with Converge. The AI Principal Architect plays a pivotal role in designing developing and implementing advanced AI solutions for our clients. Along with a team of AI engineers and data scientists work closely with clients to understand their needs and architect solutions that leverage AI to solve complex business problems. Your expertise will drive the adoption of AI technologies and ensure the delivery of high-quality scalable and sustainable AI solutions.

Essential Functions:

• Define and drive the AI solution architecture vision strategy and roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Lead the design and development of AI solutions ensuring they are scalable robust and secure.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business challenges and requirements.
• Present AI solution proposals and technical architectures to stakeholders.
• Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to clients on AI adoption and integration.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI machine learning and related technologies.
• Evaluate and recommend AI tools frameworks and platforms.
• Oversee the implementation of AI models algorithms and systems ensuring best practices and high performance.

Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies

• Expertise in AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch scikit-learn).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or R.
• Strong understanding of data processing and analysis techniques.
• Experience with key cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and their AI capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in AI and machine learning.
• Proven experience in architecting and deploying AI solutions in a professional services or consulting environment.
• Demonstrated success in leading and managing technical teams.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
