The Role 

The Workplace Investing AI Delivery Engineering Chapter team is seeking a Machine Learning / Gen AI engineer to design, implement and improve technical solutions for AI ML solutions in the healthcare. 
 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring 

• Solid Experience (8+ years) as a Machine Learning engineer building feature engineering pipelines, deploying AI models, and optimizing model inference.  

• Strong programming skills in Python and Java. 

• Solid experience with developing python-based APIs needed (FastAPI / Flask). 

• Experience in designing and implementing graph data models that capture complex relationships, ensuring efficient querying and traversal.  

• Experience working with security, data, and AI pipeline technologies (RDS/Postgres, Snowflake, Airflow) and infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Python, Ansible, CFT).  

• Demonstrated work experience using AWS services: Deploy the models in Sagemaker, cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake or RDS for analytics data hosting. EC2/EKS compute set-up. 

• Experience working with development & deployment tools like Jenkins, Github, Artifactory, Sonar, etc. 

• Excellent SQL skills required and experience performing deep data analysis on multiple database platforms. 

• Experience working on ML model monitoring, observability and performance testing. 

• Experience with working on Gen AI solutions with Large Language Models, LangChain, Llama Index, Prompt Engineering and Fine tuning.  

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 

 As the AI Solution Lead, you’ll drive cutting-edge solutions across various AI applications, including recommendation systems, healthcare guidance, and information extraction using large language models (LLMs). These solutions will be deployed seamlessly across web platforms, mobile apps, and human interfaces.

The team is an agile squad in the Healthcare Intelligence Product Area in Healthcare Group. The squad intends to use cloud technologies and deploy solutions using all current software engineering principles. It’s a great chance to work on an agile team to help build innovative and high business value AI powered solutions to improve tough manual operations activities.
