Position Description:

In this critical role on Micron's ASIC analog layout team, you will have a key role in shaping Micron's analog layouts for ASICs used in Micron's controller IP. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in the layout of high-speed circuits in deep sub-micron technologies. You will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects of the team's work, ensuring all designs meet Micron's high standards of quality.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Drive the development of layout methodology of best practices.
• Provide guidance and training to other layout designers.
• Provide timely layout services to high-speed SerDes design team.
• Work with and provide feedback to schematic designers on best hierarchy practices to support layout efficiency.

SKILLS required:

• Expert in TSMC 5nm (or lower) required.
• Expert with high-speed CMOS and CML layout techniques.
• Expert with Cadence layout tools.
• High proficiency to interpret and resolve issues in LVS, DRC, and ERC reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Candidate should have deep understanding of analog layout fundamentals and understand tradeoffs in methodology.
• Ability to develop scripts (SKILL, PVL, Python, etc.) and software to improve team productivity a plus.
• Intimate knowledge/customization of virtuoso layout, DRC rules decks, and other industry standard tools, a plus.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of ASIC analog layout experience required.
• OR A.A. in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of ASIC analog layout experience required.
