What this Opportunity Offers:
TransUnion is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as its Marketing Privacy subject matter expert. You will be a key member of the Global Chief Privacy Office, work closely with the Product Team on targeting marketing initiatives, and partner cross-functionally with stakeholders in Legal and other teams across the organization.
What You'll Bring:

• J.D. degree and membership in at least one US state bar
• 8+ years of legal experience: law firm or in-house
• 1+ years of experience in privacy
• 1+ years of experience in AdTech/MarTech, providing advertising product counseling
• Preferred experience: AdTech/Martech background working with third party data providers, AdTech/Martech companies, digital media companies, publishers, advertisers, and/or Data Management Platform (DPM)
• Familiarity with self-regulatory guidance from NAI, DAA, DMA and IAB
• International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) CIPP or similar certifications are preferred

Impact You'll Make:

• Serve as subject matter expert for global AdTech and marketing privacy laws, analyzing complex questions resulting from privacy assessments of new or enhanced TransUnion AdTech and marketing products, and helping evaluate risk for business units and senior leadership across various internal functions and subsidiaries
• Advise on implementation of new or changed privacy regulations relating to AdTech and marketing
• Escalation point for advice on day-to-day compliance with existing privacy regulations relating to AdTech and marketing
• Provide privacy legal advice for global AdTech and marketing initiatives
• Monitor for changes in AdTech and marketing regulatory landscape around privacy and data protection
• Evaluate AdTech and marketing items of potential high privacy risk for further escalation to the Enterprise Risk Management Committee
• Provide legal support for AdTech and marketing privacy-related consumer complaints
• Review and approve AdTech and marketing privacy training as necessary
