THE POSITION

The Architecture and Network (AN) group in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Principal Staff AUTOSAR Software Engineer to join our team.

• Design, Implement and Test SW for the real time Core or microcontroller of Telematics products• Assist integrators to improve and maintain the Continuous Integration environment• Analyze problem reports and determine the root cause• Estimate the efforts needed for different SW work products• Participate in sprint/PI planning, SCRUM and continuous improvement tasks• Adhere to Continental's SW development process and follow ASPICE practices

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in: Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent• 7+ years of C/C++ development• 7+ years of software development for embedded devices• 7+ years of experience working with CAN, UDS• Expert level knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic architecture• 7 years of experience working on AUTOSAR based projects• Experience leading and coaching teams of SW engineers• Experience troubleshooting on-site• Experience as the main technical interface for customers• Experience contributing to the system architecture• Experienced defining high level solutions as well as authoring detailed designs• Experience using AUTOSAR Authoring tools (Vector Davinci Developer, Dassault AUTOSAR builder)• Experience with AUTOSAR configuration tools (Davinci Configurator, EB Tresos)• Deep Knowledge of the different layers of AUTOSAR (MCAL, BSW, RTE, App/SWCs)• Experience creating AUTOSAR SW components and complex device drivers• Experienced with AUTOSAR stacks (COM, CAN, DIAG, CRYPTO, NVM)• Basic understanding of electrical schematics• Willingness to travel (< 10% of the time)
