Principal AWS Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Principal AWS Engineer to support our customer and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a game-changing organization where we put our customers and people first.

What we are looking for:

• Work side by side the Cloud Architect to ensure AWS services and Infrastructure has parity across different classifications
• Assist in automating the provisioning of AWS resources using Terraform / Terragrunt / Ansible
• Provide guidance to teams on AWS resources across all classifications (including C2S)
• Provision AWS resources with multi tenant first approach
• Work closely with the client and other key stakeholders to provide strategic input and help navigate needs and tradeoffs to build extensible digital solutions  

Highly preferred:

• Production level working experience managing AWS infrastructure
• Interest in learning Terraform / Terragrunt / Ansible
• Experience working with CloudFormation
• Expertise in a scripting language (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc). 
• Interest in learning Kubernetes (EKS or beyond)
• Passion for continuous learning
• Can communicate and breakdown complex technical concepts to non-technical team members and stakeholders 
• Enjoy collaborating with Product Managers to plan story points, sprint themes, etc.
• Experience with at least one agile methodology, including Scrum or Kanban  
• Love to demo your work to the team 

Clearance Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
