The Opportunity

Adobe's Education Marketing team exists to drive the long-term success of Adobe. We lead Adobe's global marketing plans of world-class brands including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Acrobat, and Adobe Express into the Education industry, helping ensure all students graduate with the skills vital for a successful career.

The Principal B2B Marketing Operations Manager will bring creativity to the operational aspects of the marketing team by crafting and optimizing operational processes that support the development, execution, and measurement of our marketing activity. They will be the linchpin of our team's success.

What you'll do

  • Create and drive a framework and process for the program management of Education B2B marketing activity and key initiatives.
  • Build interim process to measure pipeline creation and pipeline influence from marketing activity globally. Provide data analysis support to help drive effective decision making.
  • Partner with Sales Operations to inspect and optimize lead funnel strategy. Monitor and report on lead development weekly and ensure action plans are in place to drive progress.
  • Work with Global Marketing Operations team to develop long term strategy for measurement and integration of the Education business into Corporate Centre of Excellence processes. Own the process to integrate Education B2B marketing into the global marketing technology stack, such as marketing automation tools.
  • Oversee lead flow to our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and ensure appropriate briefing and processes to help drive lead progress.
  • Drive quarterly marketing alignment process for the Field Marketing team via collaboration with cross-functional partners and regional marketing teams.
  • Partner with Global Marketing & Strategy Operations team and Digital Media Operations teams to coordinate campaigns and priorities across marketing organization.
  • Anticipate how decisions are made; explore new ways of doing things; and work collaboratively to create results.
  • Support the team by facilitating regular project status and review meetings; ensuring cross-functional team members are involved at the right time.
  • Drive communication throughout the team and our partners within the product marketing and sales organization.
  • Uphold standards and ensure accurate processes and tools are applied including integrations across SharePoint, Slack, Wrike and Microsoft Office Suite.
What you need to succeed

  • Minimum BA/BS; MBA a plus.
  • Ideally 6+ years of operations, marketing, consulting, or related experience
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM. Beneficial to have experience in project management tools (JIRA, Workfront) and marketing automation (Adobe Campaign, Marketo) platforms.
  • Desirable to have knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, or SQL and be data proficient. Must be experienced with Excel.
  • Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $123,200 -- $238,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
