The Role:

We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. As Principal Business Architect you will be responsible for keeping the business capability model up-to-date, evangelizing business architecture in action, working with product leaders to mature product taxonomy, evolving the business architecture framework implementation and formulating integration standards for products.

Position Purpose:

Business Architecture and Integration-focused position to support the goals and outcomes of the Digital Solutions & Products (DS&P) organization by evolving business architecture to connect the dots from strategy to customer journeys to product development, and providing a common vernacular for collaboration with other departments.

Additional Requirements

Partners with product and journey owners to reflect a more customer centric business capability model

Uses the business architecture framework to highlight impacts of business strategy and identify best-fit automation opportunities

Creates effective documentation that facilitates intake estimation and solution design

Works across the enterprise with business, product, and IT leaders to keep the business capability model up to date

Evolves the business architecture framework beyond the existing business capability model

Trains stakeholders on self-service model for managing product data in EA repository

Provides guidance to business architects on the team and review work as needed

Additionally you will bring:

Bachelor's Degree in MIS, CS, or related field with 10 years of experience

Working experience in at least one EA tool such as iServer, Troux etc.

Knowledge of EA frameworks with practical implementation experience in one or more

Summarizing business strategy changes using heat maps and impact analysis using business architecture

Researching and proposing business architecture community/industry best practices for adoption

Designing business architecture curriculum for availability in Centene University

Creating templates for business architecture documentation

Providing integration standards for products
